HEAT INFORMATION:

Friday 31st October 2025​​​

Heat Day Requirements:

• Report at least 30 minutes before start time.

• Must dance in number sequence.

• Re-dance only allowed for music failure.

📜 RULES & ELIGIBILITY

 

Eligibility:

• Must be 16 years old by 31 May 2026.

• Routine must not exceed 3 minutes.

• Classical Ballet, Pointe, Character, Greek, and National styles are not permitted.

 

Performance Guidelines:

• Must be a complete theatrical dance performance.

• Vocal tracks cannot enhance natural voice; miming is not allowed.

• Avoid sensitive themes (political, religious, health-related).

Heat Day Requirements:

• Report at least 30 minutes before start time.

Finals:

• Same routine and music must be used.

 

Props & Equipment:

• Only small, single-person props allowed.

• Microphones/radio mics provided by IDTA at Finals.

 

Adjudication:

• Decisions are final.

 

Past Winners:

• Past winners cannot re-enter.

• Winning routines cannot be reused by other competitors.

 

Registration Cards:

• Registration Cards are required

• Apply at least 6 weeks before your first heat.
